29: The New Internet Laws in Turkey

Protests yet again rocked Turkey on the 8-9 February 2014.  This time, Turkish citizens were protesting the government's move to control social media through the new internet laws, first passed by parliament on the 6 February 2014 with a vote of 319 to 550.

Turkish expert and Moshe Dayan Center researcher Hay Eytan Cohen Yanarocak discusses the developments in Turkey from the Gezi Park protests to the passing of the new internet laws, and what these internet laws mean for the future of Turkey.
